Communications for Leaders with the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce
A strong desire to develop communication skills is essential for leaders. Communication Skills for Leaders Level 1 provides a comprehensive look into how to apply best practices in workplace communication, allowing leaders to truly engage with their team. This program helps leaders develop the ability to recognize the non-verbal cues that accompany verbal communication, actively listen to others in order to understand their point of view, identify the four main communication styles, recognize triangulation in the workplace and handle difficult conversations. Additionally, we cover how to apply best practices in workplace communication for different generations, allowing leaders to create a more inclusive and harmonious work environment.

The Marketing Essentials program equips participants with key principles and practical skills essential for developing effective marketing strategies and distinguishing messaging in today’s competitive landscape.

- Strategic planning: develop and implement effective marketing strategies, set actionable goals, and choose appropriate tactics

This foundational course is ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their marketing capabilities and acquire transferable skills to foster business growth. Upon completion, participants can advance to more specialized marketing topics through Workplace Education programs.
